Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: February 25, 2026
At RAD Power Equipment, LLC (d/b/a DIY Digger Depot), we understand that project timelines can change. However, because our equipment is in high demand and reserved specifically for your project, we enforce the following policy to manage our inventory fairly.
1. Rental Cancellations
To cancel or reschedule a rental, please contact us at 603-331-4369 or sales@diydiggerdepot.com.

48+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a Full Refund (less a 3% credit card processing fee).

24–48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made within this window are subject to a Cancellation Fee equal to 50% of the first day's rental rate. Alternatively, we can issue a full store credit for a future date.

Less than 24 Hours or "No-Show": No refund will be issued. The full daily rental rate will be charged as the equipment was held and made unavailable to other customers.
2. Weather & Job Site Conditions

Inclement Weather: If extreme weather (e.g., heavy snow, torrential rain, or flooding) makes operation unsafe or impossible, RAD Power Equipment, LLC (d/b/a DIY Digger Depot) may, at its sole discretion, allow for a one-time rescheduling of your rental at no additional cost.

Site Readiness: If our delivery driver arrives and the site is inaccessible or the renter is not present to sign the agreement, the rental will be treated as a "No-Show" and no refund will be provided.
3. Equipment Sales

Used Equipment: All sales of used/pre-owned equipment are FINAL and sold "As-Is." No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted once the title has transferred or the equipment has left our yard.

New Equipment: Returns on new, unused equipment are subject to the manufacturer’s return policy and may incur a 20% restocking fee.
4. Security Deposits

Security deposits are held as a "pre-authorization" or "charge" depending on your booking method.

Deposits will be released/refunded within 3–5 business days after the equipment is returned, provided the unit is returned on time, full of fuel, reasonably clean, and free of new damage.

Any fuel surcharges, cleaning fees, or repair costs will be deducted from the deposit before the balance is released.
5. Early Returns

No refunds or prorated credits are provided for equipment returned earlier than the scheduled contract end date (e.g., if you finish a 2-day project in 1 day, the 2-day rate still applies).
